Job Overview

Legacy Supply Chain is hiring an Auditor for the Inventory Control Department to support our distribution center located in Franklin, IN.  As an Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting audits of outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.  This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of our inventory, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.  This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.

Schedule and Compensation

  • Monday through Friday - 7:00am to 3:30pm
  • Starting pay is $19.50 per hour

Job Details

What should I expect as an Inventory Control Auditor:

  • Perform detailed audits of outbound shipments to verify accuracy against packing slips, purchase orders, and other relevant documentation.
  • Ensure all shipments meet quality standards and company specifications.
  • Accurately document findings and discrepancies during audits.
  • Verify all items are correctly labeled and packaged according to company guidelines.
  • Correct errors found during the auditing process before the shipment leaves the facility (i.e. adding any product missing from the order, replacing damaged product or repackag)
  • Communication with appropriate managers or supervisors regarding resolution of problems encountered during the auditing process.
  • Additional duties as needed such as assisting in regular inventory counts and reconciliation processes.
  • Operate power equipment as required.
  • Other general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Requires driver certification on power equipment
  • Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Great math skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality
  • Ability to work independently and without continuous supervision
