Job Overview

Legacy Supply Chain is currently seeking a detail-oriented freight invoice manager to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in the auditing and processing of inbound production freight invoices. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment, collaborate across domestic and international transportation functions, and serve as a key liaison between carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.

  • Monday through Friday - 8am to 5pm

Job Details

 

What to expect as a Transportation Invoice Manager:

 

  • Various validation of all inbound production freight invoices to ensure compliance with established business rules and vendor requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure the freight audit software vendor is applying business rules correctly.
  • Escalate billing issues outside of carrier portals or cases of non-responsive carriers through the proper channels.
  • Ensure invoices are processed and approved promptly to support business continuity.
  • Review, analyze, and summarize audit data for reporting and present insights to the Central Materials Team.
  • Collaborate daily with the Central Materials Team and work closely with International and Domestic Transportation Managers.
  • Support process improvements and drive accountability across freight audit operations.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in billing, auditing, or financial operations (preferably in transportation or logistics).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to interpret and present data.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to escalate and resolve issues effectively.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with freight audit & payment (FBAP) platforms or carrier portals.
  • Knowledge of domestic and international transportation billing practices.
  • Prior experience working in a large manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Experience with Pando AI.
