Legacy Supply Chain Services is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead to support our distribution center located in Ontario, CA. As a Warehouse Team Lead, you are responsible for leading and providing support to the Warehouse Associates. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.

• Tuesday through Friday - 5:00am to 3:30pm; starting pay $24.00 per hour
• Tuesday through Friday - 5:00pm to 3:30am; starting pay $24.00 per hour
• Eligible for a monthly bonus of up to $1.05 per hour

What to expect as a Warehouse Team Lead:

• Maintain operational input of productivity input sheets and verify integrity of information
• Provide high level of internal and external customer service
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments and product flow to meet Level of Service Goals.
• Recommend and implement measures to motivate employees as well as improve processes, equipment performance, and quality assurance to maximize efficiencies
• Supervise the day to day requirements for manpower, planning and cross training requirements
• Provide support to departmental staff by researching and resolving discrepancies, recommending remedial actions to manage inventory and disbursement of inventory
• Monitor vendor non-compliance on receiving, shipping and forward recommendations for improvement
• Maintain all overages, shortages, damages and concealed damages
• Communicate with drivers/dispatch on problem trailers
• Ensure Policies and Procedures are being adhered to and enforced
• Promote a clean and safe working environment by maintaining compliance with safety guidelines, reporting discrepancies and recommending corrective action to ensure safety in the warehouse
• Support Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
• Promote/provide cross training when required

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 3-5 years warehouse/distribution experience strongly preferred in Lead or Coordinator roles.
• Detail oriented with ability to demonstrate skill in business analysis, and/or a track record in executing company standards successfully.
• Ability to effectively communicate, interact and convey business decisions with many different levels within the organization.
• Knowledge of receiving, shipping, inventory systems, supply chain management, logistics, customer service, reporting, system analysis, equipment and warehouse functionality.
• Proven success in maintaining quality, service and client relationships in a high-paced setting.
• Experience working in team oriented, multi-shift environment.
• Strong computer skills with proven competencies in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook; WMS experience strongly preferred.
