Job Overview

Legacy Supply Chain is hiring an Operations Supervisor to support our Franklin, IN operation. As an Operations Supervisor you will be responsible for planning and coordinating department activities, leading & supervising a team to ensure the facility operates smoothly and efficiently while meeting Company initiatives and objectives. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.

Schedule and Compensation

  • 1st Shift: Monday through Friday - 5:00am to 3:30pm
  • 2nd Shift: Monday through Friday - 1:45pm to 10:15pm
  • Starting salary between $60,000-65,000 per year

Job Details

What to expect as an Operations Supervisor:

  • Manage all aspects of assigned department/shift.
  • Maintain a high degree of visibility and access to employees on the warehouse floor.
  • Establish and maintain facility standards for productivity, reliability, and accuracy. Ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by employees.
  • Monitor the work performance of each employee to ensure that quality and quantity expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Provide ongoing training/retraining of employees to ensure that they are prepared to meet or exceed the productivity standards for their function.
  • Administrative duties include preparing required reports and correspondence as needed.
  • Administer policies/procedures in a fair and consistent manner. Professionally address issues with employees utilizing the proper resources.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all operating systems.
  • Support facility’s safety programs and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience at the Operations Supervisor or equivalent level preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
  • BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a team oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills required.
  • Proven competencies in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Warehouse Management System experience
