Legacy Supply Chain is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead to support the Receiving Department at our Mt. Juliet, TN operation. As a Warehouse Team Lead, you will be responsible for assisting with the day to day running of the department.  A person in this job will interface with customers, customer service, and follow-up to see that orders in your area of responsibility are shipped in a timely manner. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.

• 1st Shift: Monday through Friday – 6:00am to 2:30pm; starting pay rate $22.00 per hour.
• 2nd Shift: Monday through Friday – 3:00pm to 11:30pm; starting pay rate $22.00 per hour, plus a $2.00 shift differential.

What to expect as a Warehouse Team Lead:

• Confirm and ensure that every individual is performing task Safely
• Confirm Business Unit employees have completed Monthly OSHA training
• Ensure area Housekeeping requirements are met
• Abides by all OSHA rules and Legacy Supply Chain Services safety practices
• Meet established procedures and productivity, safety and quality standards
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and reach trucks as required in a manner supporting all safety rules and procedures.
• Oversee daily activities of personnel in the Business Unit
• Ensure correct trailers to be worked are in the doors and Work Screens are current
• Advise Business Unit Manager of daily manning needs
• Assist Business Unit Manager in setting daily plan
• Point person for Receiving Questions from the Facility Floor
• Back Up Business Unit manager for Receiving Questions from ABB and Customers
• Support Business Unit Manager in their absence
• Oversee and work Daily Reports
• Communicate Receiving Plan to Employees
• Provide Employees with ROs
• Report any needs of the Business Unit to the Business Unit Manager
• Attend Facility Lead training and meetings
• Cross Train to other Lead Positions
• Help cover for any absence in the Business Unit
• Assist Business Unit Manager in conducting daily Stand up meetings
• Conduct Daily Information exchange with following shift Lead or Team
• Assist Business Unit manager in achieving KPIs
• Other assignments and special Projects as assigned by the Business Unit Manager

Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED required.
• General math skills required.
• Hazardous Materials Certified is preferred
• Satisfactory understanding of all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
• Must be able to work safely and within company safety guidelines.
